New England Orthopedic Surgeons, a division of Northeast Orthopedic Alliance, is a leading orthopedic private practice is recruiting Medical Assistants for the Springfield office. This full time position is responsible for maintaining smooth and efficient patient flow; performs routine procedures i.e., vital signs, height, weight, drawing up injections; prepares patients and assists with exams and special procedures; instructs patients for basic diagnostic procedures/treatment; reports pertinent observations to provider; charts in patient record in accordance with protocols; prepares rooms and work area for sessions, including stocking of rooms; books patient appointments; answers phones and triages patient messages; performs clerical work as needed.
Minimum requirements: Must have 2 years of Medical Assisting experience. Orthopedic Experience preferred. Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant Program.
