Job Overview:
We are seeking an ARRT Certified; skilled X-ray Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. This role plays a crucial part in helping physicians accurately diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Duties:
- Perform X-rays on patients for diagnostic purposes
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Conduct scans including PET scans, CT scans, and mammography
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical imaging, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as an X-ray Technician or similar role
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with various types of diagnostic imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform mammography and other specialized scans is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
