Job Description
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction projects in roads, highways, and bridges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring contractor's on-site construction activities and inspecting materials entering the worksite.
- Ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and special provisions for the construction contract.
- Maintaining detailed records of the contractor's daily operations and events that affect the worksite, as well as reviewing modifications to plans.
The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to interact with individuals at any level of the organization, and be able to problem-solve and work independently.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
- One or two years of college or equivalent industry-related experience is required, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
- Must maintain specific certifications, including ACI Level 1, CTQP Level I and II, and CTQP QC Manager.
