NEPSI is currently seeking two (2) Electrical Engineering Tech I.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
· Assemble and wire control panels by referring to shop drawings and instructions.
· Start-up, commission, service, maintain, and trouble-shoot NEPSI products, such as capacitor banks and filter banks, MVTVSS, snubbers, and MSP’s.
· Select specified wires to route and terminate according to instructions and drawings.
· Label wires per instructions provided.
· Properly cut, splice, lug, terminate, and label all wiring.
· Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, control drawings, or products specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembly, basic wiring, and installing of components and hardware.
· Ensure proper components are installed in appropriate sequence, per established methods, instructions, and drawings.
· Ensure proper clearances between front panel and back panel components.
· Install components such as relays, controllers, plc’s/hmi, fuse blocks, fuses, i/o devices, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, Panduit, lights, indicators, switches.
· Perform process audits as requested.
· Understand and comply with NEPSI quality system requirements.
· Perform basic testing and debugging of wiring circuits as required.
· Adhere to NEPSI and customer’s site safety requirements, including drug screening when requested.
· Communicate with customers regarding troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and commissioning of NEPSI equipment.
· Travel required.
The successful candidate must have a valid passport and driver’s license.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATION/LICENSURE CREDENTIALS
Required: Associate’s degree in electrical engineering preferred
EXPERIENCE
Required: Background or prior job experience in electrical control circuit design and operation.
SPECIAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Required: Ability to read blueprints; Ability to operate basic hand tools; Knowledge of high voltage distribution design and systems including established safety protocol and procedures; Ability to collaborate and communicate with customers, must be able to work under pressure.
