Marketing/Canvassing Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and energetic Marketing/Canvassing Representatives to join our team. This role is essential in promoting our organization by directly engaging with the community through door-to-door canvassing, flyer distribution, and business outreach. Key Responsibilities:
1. Weekly Meetings and Briefings:
- Attend regular team meetings at the office to discuss strategies, share experiences, and receive updates from management.
2. Door-to-Door Canvassing:
- Go door-to-door in designated neighborhoods to hang flyers and engage residents about our services/products.
- Effectively communicate our message and encourage community involvement.
3. Yard Sign Placement:
- Place yard signs in approved areas to promote upcoming initiatives and increase visibility.
4. Business Outreach:
- Visit local businesses to introduce our organization and promote partnerships.
- Engage with business owners and patrons to share relevant information and gather feedback.
5. Community Interaction:
- Build rapport with neighborhood residents and actively seek to answer questions and address concerns.
- Gather and document community feedback to share with the team.
6. Route Tracking:
- Use a cell phone (preferably an iPhone) to track canvassing routes and report daily progress.
- Maintain records of interactions and observations for effective reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Experience in marketing, sales, or community engagement is a plus, but not required.
Skills:
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present oneself professionally and positively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be in good physical shape, as this role requires significant walking (up to 20 miles per day).
- Ability to work outdoors and in diverse weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Clean and presentable appearance.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- A functional cell phone (preferably an iPhone) for navigation and tracking.
Compensation:
- Pay at a rate of $20 per hour, with performance-based bonuses available for motivated individuals.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time positions available, with options for part-time work considered.
- Flexible hours to accommodate community engagement efforts, including some evenings and weekends.
