Shift : Days, 6a-6p
Job Requirements
2 years experience required
Local placements NOT allowed
Floating may be required
Unit Specific Information
All nurses at this organization are required to go in float rotation and take patients on med / surg floor when volume in ICU does not require all ICU staff
Central telemetry station is in ICU
There is opportunity to crosstrain to telemetry if willing
Agency and permanent staff go in same float rotation
24 / 7 Respiratory therapy in house assists with bipap and ventilator management
Additional Details
48GH to be considered if desired
Primarily adult and geriatric patients
Patient Ratio : 1 : 2-3 (acuity based)
ART lines, Ventilator management, CVL’s, CVP monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring and strong knowledge if IV medications required
Swan Ganz, balloon and impella pump experience preferred
