Nurse Manager Responsibilities...
Primary functions of the Nurse Manager are:
1) Responsible for ensuring the standards for Nursing Practice, nursing education and infections control, as established by the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) for NRHN, are followed.
2) Performs the duties of the Nurse Manager. As such, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursing staff.
3) Carries out the duties of the Nurse Manager. This includes participation in the planning, directing, organizing, controlling and coordinating all aspects of NRHN inpatient services.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Reports to the CCO with accountability for nursing standards and practice, nursing education, and infection control.
To qualify you must...
1) BSN degree preferred.
2) Holds a valid RN license in the State of New Hamphire.
3) Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
4) Five or more years of specific rehabilitation clinical experience with at least three years of supervisory/ management experience.
5) Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of personnel.
6) Demonstrated skills in team leadership and project management.
7) Strong organization skills, self-starting initiative, and high belief in the change process.
