Job Title: Construction Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Northeast Remsco Construction, a JAG Company. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in heavy civil utility construction, treatment plant projects, and pump station rehabilitation. Strong knowledge of contract administration, scheduling, and labor management is required. Experience with underground utility installation, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades (MEP) coordination is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate construction activities, including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to trade labor foremen, crew members, and other personnel.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- 10 years of experience in heavy civil utility construction, treatment plant projects, and pump station rehabilitation.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, scheduling, and labor management.
- Experience with underground utility installation, MEP coordination, and project management software.
