SUMMARY
The IT Digital/Omni Manager should be a visionary leader that can translate multiple operating company business needs into workable product & technology solutions that systemically and operationally scale. They will be responsible for leading a team, project prioritization and thoughtful resource management. They will also bring a multidisciplinary approach and be able to balance the product/technology roadmap with top business priorities and strategic objectives.
The ideal person is a “builder” and transformational visionary – a digital-savvy data and IT leader. They are also collaborative with a commercial- and growth-mindset. The role will be tasked with taking the current data and digital environment from current state (multiple, disparate systems) to one seamless digitally forward platform for current business and customers through various omni-channel touch points. They will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with key IT and Business stakeholders to develop a vision for scalable digital platforms and assets:
Stakeholders include internal IT leadership, Service Providers, Marketing, Digital, Loyalty and Customer Service professions among others.
Ensure investment in digital platforms, data & analytics, and marketing & advertising technology align with the brand’s strategic vision and business priorities.
Work across Technology team to ensure compatibility and manage dependencies across digital channels, security, enterprise IT systems and development roadmap.
Oversee the development, deployment and maintenance of scalable, secure digital platforms (e.g., eCommerce, mobile), AI/ML & Data Science enabled analytics capabilities, and marketing & advertising technology (customer communications, loyalty, customer lifetime value):
Shape vision for a modern technology architecture to support multi-brand digital platforms and deliver competitive advantage for Northeast Grocery.
Collaborate with Brand executives to develop requirements to support brands' strategic goals and activation plans.
Effectively prioritize and define strategic objectives so that product, analytics, engineering, IT, and others in the business can collaboratively build and execute.
Direct project management for all digital, data, and marketing technology projects, including vendor management, development and budgeting.
Work with Marketing and Operations teams to define required omni-channel customer experiences, integrations for in-store and digital consumer interfaces and recommend the optimal approach to ensure seamless consumer and operator experience.
Assist with vendor selection and management: select technology related vendors (e.g., loyalty program vendors, mobile app developers, etc.)
Build and grow a best-in-class technical organization:
Manage program & technology leaders, provide mentorship and guidance to the full technology organization. Cultivates a bench of leadership and talent to deliver results and support future growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
- Has worked in an enterprise-wide digital environment that impacts IT, consumer experience, marketing, analytics, web, and mobile.
- Digital / eCommerce Experience - Expertise leading omni-channel customer experiences, digital, and physical technology, with experience driving digital channel strategy and optimization, including e-commerce, mobile, and loyalty.
- Consumer-facing digital technology knowledge required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors required; masters preferred
- A "builder" - has built digital channel capabilities from the ground up, or has transformed a disparate, multi-platform data org to a single version of truth
- 8 years of technology leadership experience in retail; Grocery preferred
Salary : $92,955 - $148,551
