What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Tech position at Northeast Site Contractors?
We are a busy East Stroudsburg-based commercial/industrial site contractor that specializes in excavation, underground utilities, and asphalt paving that is currently seeking a full-time survey tech. Experience doing stakeouts for proper installation of utilities (storm, sanitary sewer, and water) as well as for site grading, paving, curbing and concrete is required. Must be able to operate and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment. Must be able to prepare data from plans and CAD files by generating points to be staked out in the field, Experience with AutoCAD and GPS systems is a must.
