Position Overview:
As a Manager of Northeast Snowmobile Rentals in Rangeley, ME you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of all aspects of the business, including customer service, staff management, inventory management, and marketing initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a passion for outdoor recreation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee all operational aspects of the Rangeley location, including rentals, guided tours, and retail sales.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming rental facility.
2. Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Develop strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of rental associates.
- Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
4. Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels of rental equipment, parts, and merchandise.
- Coordinate with the Polaris Adventures team and complete all documentation in a timely fashion to order parts for machines and ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the outdoor recreation, hospitality, or retail industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Snowmobile operations, maintenance, and safety protocols (preferred).
- Familiarity with the Rangeley area and outdoor recreation activities (preferred).
