Job Opportunity: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized Wound Care and dermatological services, primarily but not limited to patients in Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). This role offers a flexible schedule, significant autonomy, and the support of a dedicated clinical and administrative team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and document thoroughly in EMR system.
- Perform sharp debridement, incision and drainage (I&D), punch biopsies, and shave biopsies.
- Provide wound care and coordinate associated services to enhance healing outcomes, including:
- Ordering radiologic, laboratory, and vascular tests.
- Making specialty referrals.
- Interpreting diagnostic tests and recommending follow-up actions.
- Recommend and prescribe medications, durable medical equipment (DME), and supplies to promote wound healing and prevention.
