POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Assistant Superintendent / Campus Director-Elect
Presumptive Campus Director for FY26
Exempt Certified Professional, Full-Time, 12-month Staff
District Employee Assigned to Kansas Campus
Starting Date: TBD
Reports to: Deputy Superintendent / Superintendent
Schedule: General work schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, unless the assignment requires additional time for completion.
Compensation
Package: $123,346 - $124,846 plus a salary supplement of $5,191 - $8,395 annually, commensurate with experience. Health, dental, vision, paid life insurance, and teachers’ retirement paid; flexible benefits plan; sick leave, vacation, and paid holidays. Total minimum compensation package approximately $160,546 - $167,441 annually. Use of a school car to and from work location.
Primary
Function: Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, assisting the current Campus Director with the operation and supervision of a technology center campus. This includes campus budgeting, curriculum development, counseling of students, evaluation of certified and non-certified personnel, public relations, transportation, maintaining physical facilities, and other duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Must also maintain positive public relations and professionally represent Northeast Technology Center at all times.
This individual will spend FY25 becoming familiar with the partner schools, communities, personnel, and operational practices of the Afton Campus, as well as the District culture and organizational management structure and function.
Education: Master’s degree required.
Experience: Must have experience as a teacher, supervisor, or administrator of vocational programs. Must hold a current standard Superintendent’s Certificate as defined by the Oklahoma Department of Education and Oklahoma Department of Career & Technology Education and must be eligible to pursue attainment of the Career-Tech School Administrator Credential. All positions require a criminal history background check and a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening. Section 135, Oklahoma School Code prohibits a school from employing or re-employing anyone who has been convicted of a felony.
