Job Overview:
As an Insurance Representative Trainee, you will begin by focusing on obtaining your insurance license, then transition into a fast-paced sales role aimed at securing new clients and building long-term relationships. This role is ideal for recent graduates seeking a challenging, rewarding, and supportive work environment with room for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Licensing: Obtain your insurance license within the first 45 days, with the company covering licensing fees. You’ll receive mentorship from seasoned agents to guide you through this process.
- Sales & Client Engagement: After licensing, make cold calls, secure new clients, and sell insurance policies, focusing on new business generation.
- Team Collaboration: Work in a team-oriented, call center-style environment with other trainees to foster support and friendly competition.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting Pay: Year 1 - $32,000 base salary, plus a 30% commission on new business and 20% on renewals.
- Commission & Bonus: Eligible for a $2,500 quarterly performance bonus based on sales performance (after Year 2) and ongoing commission.
