HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER – FULL TIME
Northeast Traffic Control Services, located in Plymouth, MA, is looking for a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Highway Construction Project Manager. NETC is a Temporary Traffic, ITS (Intelligent Transportation System), Roadway Safety Services, and Highway Construction Company that covers all of New England. Position Description:
As a NETC Highway Construction Project Manager, you would be responsible for daily reporting, fieldwork, plan drafting, job tracking, estimating and other responsibilities. Through hands-on training, you will gain knowledge of our day-to-day operations as well as an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our products, services, and functions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple signage installation contracts with values up to $5,000,000.00
- Manage superintendents and assistant project managers
- Project Estimating
- Ability to build an effective team from laborer up to project manager
- Quantity tracking, take-offs and cost estimating
- Assisting with the review and management of shop drawings and material orders
- Assisting construction crews with logistics
- Effectively interact with staff at all levels to advance projects in a timely and economical manner
- Working closely with Project Managers and Assistants on client needs and job requirements
- Reviewing of orders and design plans to ensure accuracy
- Providing estimates and quotes for clientele
Position Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data.
- At least five years of General Construction Project Management
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, maintaining professionalism
- Self-motivated, ability to think independently and problem solve
- Organized and paying great attention to detail
- Familiarity with traffic control products and services
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and RMV driving history reviewal
- Must possess valid / active driver’s license and a clean driving history
Compensation: Competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience
