SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Manager will partner with the Director of Human Resources to ensure that all areas under the Human Resource Department are operating efficiently. This includes Talent Acquisition, Benefits Management, Performance Management and Employee Relations. The Human Resource Manager will strategize with the Director of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition Manager, and HR Operations Manager to ensure that all processes comply with regulatory standards and established agency policy and procedures.
ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge and Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to remain in compliance with Federal and State Employment Laws.
• Experience with HRIS systems specific to the oversight of Payroll administration and compliance.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing compliance with Department of Labor Wage and Hour regulations within a diverse and multi-faceted organization.
• Knowledge and experience with managing regulatory compliance with FMLA and Worker’s Compensation requirements.
• Management and triaging of a centralized Human Resource mailbox.
• Handling of tasks related to group benefit programs including group health dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, travel and accident plans, flexible spending plans, retirement plans, wellness, etc.
• Perform routine tasks related to Absence Management (FMLA/ Leave of Absence and Worker’s Compensation within the HRIS.
• Document and maintain data related to benefits, Absence Management, Worker's Compensation, and Unemployment
• Experience with employee relations issues and conflict resolution strategies.
• Experience in supporting program leadership with performance management strategies.
• Handling of initial employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
• Assist in data corrections and updates in NET’s HRIS
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practice, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
• 5 years of human resource management experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP Preferred
• Experience with Paycom HR Software preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively problem-solve.
• Must be a team player, patient, flexible, and can multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate fashion in a fast-paced environment
