Behavioral Health Technician - Children with Autism (IBHS ABA)

Position: Full-Time or part time Behavioral Health Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children with autism in both school and community settings. You will follow a behaviorally based treatment plan designed to enhance social, emotional, and academic development. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families in underserved areas.
Key Responsibilities:

One-to-One Support: Provide individualized support to children with autism in school and community settings.

Behavioral Intervention: Apply evidence-based techniques to address and manage challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.

Data Collection: Maintain accurate and timely records of each child’s progress, behaviors, and interventions.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's development and treatment plan.

Skill Development: Assist children in developing essential life skills, including communication, social interaction, and self-regulation.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or higher in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with autism or other developmental disorders is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong understanding of behaviorally based treatment approaches; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification or other relevant certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
