NET is looking for experienced OP Addiction Counselors!
As a counselor in urban Philadelphia, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team at NET that is dedicated to serving an underserved population. The primary role of a counselor is to provide individual and group psychotherapy. This position is embedded in an Integrated Community Wellness Center (ICWC). A team approach of peer support services, case management, care coordination, psychiatry, physical health screening and mental health clinicians is utilized to wrap services around the individual. We employ a culturally competent and trauma-informed approach to address the SDOH needs of the individual.
Role Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and readiness for treatment.

Create and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.

Lead individual, group and family counseling sessions focused on relapse prevention and recovery strategies.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, including referrals to additional services as needed.

Facilitate educational sessions for clients and their families about addiction and recovery
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

Qualifications must adhere to DDAP Chapter 704

Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in urban settings preferred

Bilingual preferred
