Job Title: Medical Team Lead
Job Summary
The Medical Team Lead is responsible for providing patient care services and ensuring the availability of required health services to patients. This role involves supervising the care provided by Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other team members, including Medical Assistants.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the care given by Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other team members.
- Ensure that required health services are available to patients.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, and contemporary general office practices and procedures.
- Develop computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.), electronic health record systems, and database systems.
- Typing/data entry skills sufficient to meet production requirements.
- Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment.
- Sensitivity to the different cultures represented among members and staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved medical school with an MD or DO degree.
- Successful completion of an approved internship and residency.
- Eligibility for hospital privileges in participating hospitals (for some positions).
