What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court Liaison Specialist position at Northeastern Center Inc?
The Court Liaison Specialist serves a dual agency role:
(1) court liaison for involuntary detentions and temporary and regular commitments
(2) act as an Emergency Case Facilitator.
This person will be responsible to facilitate involuntary detentions and monitor all court-ordered treatment (temporary and regular commitments) with local judicial courts. This person will be responsible to coordinate admissions and discharges from State Psychiatric Hospitals for Northeastern Center clients. It is imperative that the individual understands and navigates DMHA, legal, medical, and behavioral health systems in the “Gatekeeper” role while ensuring Northeastern Center fulfills all obligations in accordance with DMHA and Gatekeeper responsibilities.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree related to mental health.
Experience: Must meet OBHP requirements = Two years’ experience in mental health or community services preferred.
Licenses: Must have a valid state issued driver's license.
First shift, full time, flexibility as follows:
Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5pm with flexibility to meet programmatic needs, must provide some on call as Emergency Solutions Case Facilitator.
Salary based on experience.
