Responsibilities
- Provide safe and timely transportation for clients within and outside the Northeastern Counties.
- Coordinate with dispatch centers, other drivers, supervisors, and the central office to manage passenger logistics efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members using a two-way radio system.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including time logs and passenger details.
- Operate vehicle lifts and secure passengers with straps when necessary.
- Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Proven excellent driving skills.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of safety rules and traffic laws.
- Capability to drive in extreme weather conditions and diverse environments, including rural and urban areas.
- Physical ability to routinely lift between 20 lbs. – 50 lbs.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
- Successful completion of a background check.
