Northeastern Junior College is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Adult Education Program Director to lead and oversee key operations for the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) grant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in adult education through a variety of programs, including Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency Prep, English Language Acquisition, Integrated English and Training, and college and career navigation. As the Adult Education Program Director, the candidate will be at the forefront of ensuring the success of NJC Adult and Community Education programs, overseeing data evaluation, compliance, and continuous program improvement of the Adult Education program. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead Program Improvement: Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to identify growth opportunities, driving program enhancements alongside the Director of Adult and Community Education to ensure continual progress and success.
- Data Management & Reporting: Manage the program's data evaluation process and ensure timely and accurate reporting, acting as the key point of contact for all AEFLA grant data-related activities.
- Instructional Support: Take on critical roles including LACES Data Administrator, Assessment Coordinator, and provide goal coaching for adult learners to support their educational progress.
- Program Coordination: Oversee scheduling, registration, and learner orientation processes to ensure smooth operations for new and returning students.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of full and part-time instructors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment while ensuring high-quality instructional delivery.
- Collaboration & Outreach: Serve as the primary point of contact for outreach sites, partnering with the Director to ensure compliance and maximize the impact of grant-funded activities.
What You Will Need:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Teams
- Ability to absorb and analyze information quickly and putting information into action promptly
- Knowledge of grant or similar funding programs, specifically compliance and accuracy importance
- Willingness to complete ABEA certification within three years of employment.

- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with learners, ACE instructors, community members and the college team in a positive, relationship-building way.

- Background and experience in community service or non-profit work
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
What We Can Offer:
This is a full-time professional appointment. Annual salary is $46,000 - $51,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
