What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be :
The Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) provides the administrative direction and leadership for all educational delivery systems of the college as well as academic quality and control consistent with established higher education policies and procedures. The VPAA plans, develops, maintains, and evaluates the effectiveness of instruction across all academic (transfer), extended studies, online, and career / technical (occupational / vocational) instructional curricula including programs and courses. The VPAA supervises Deans, Department Chairs and Directors, and other staff. The VPAA serves as the key liaison between NJC and other universities and colleges, developing and overseeing partnerships that enhance student opportunities. The VPAA serves as the Chief Academic Officer for the college when representing same to the federal and state agencies.

This is a full-time professional appointment. Annual salary is $95,000-$101,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
