Position Summary: Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Tech work per diem, or as needed, in our Pharmacy Department.  Primary duties include counting, preparing, labeling, and packaging unit dose mediations. Assisting pharmacist entering patient orders, IV preparation and delivery, and delivering medications to the proper departments.  Performing daily inpatient and outpatient billing, completing purchase orders, ordering, receiving and stocking medications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Nevada Board of Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
• Minimum Experience:  Previous experience preferred.
• Other Requirements:  Current Pharmacy Tech Certification preferred.
• Physical Demands:  Occasional prolonged standing/walking; Occasional heavy lifting of supplies/equipment, 20-30 pounds
