NORTHEASTERN RURAL HEALTH CLINICS is actively recruiting a Family Nurse Practitioner for our established medical facility located in northern California. Our practice setting is strictly outpatient, primary care, and very friendly to Nurse Practitioners with opportunities to grow.

Schedule and Patient Volume
We offer a Monday through Friday schedule from 8-5, with the option to work 4 - 10's. You will see patients of all age groups with typical patient volume ranging from 13-16 patients per 8-hour shift or 20 patients in a 10-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat chronic and acute episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries/illnesses.
• Perform selected laboratory testing and offer referrals to physicians as needed.
• Write prescriptions and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
• Meet with new residents to orient them about services and identify their needs.
• Conduct support groups on physical and emotional health topics.
• Maintain outpatient records, record statistics, and conduct research as necessary.
• Collaborate with staff to identify patients' needs and develop plans to meet them.
