Description Of Position
The Department of Psychology & Counseling at Northeastern State University invites
applications for a part-time adjunct position serving the counseling program. The successful
candidate should have expertise and the ability to teach in person.
While our department offers courses on all three campuses including Tahlequah, Broken Arrow,
and Muskogee, this position will be based on the Broken Arrow campus with applicants
expected to teach Face-to-Face in the classroom.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses in counseling to be determined by
departmental need and area of specialty, including Practicum.
Part-time faculty in the Counseling program are responsible for developing course materials and
teaching assigned courses within the curriculum.
All course delivery integrates technology, including Face-to-Face classes.
Experience
Previous experience teaching counseling at the graduate level is preferred.
Education Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision.
Master’s degree in Counseling required.
Salary
$800/Credit hour

Fall 2025
