The Department of Psychology & Counseling at Northeastern State University invites
applications for a part-time adjunct position serving the undergraduate Psychology program. The
successful candidate should have expertise and the ability to teach both online and in person.
This position will be based on the Tahlequah campus with applicants expected to teach Face-to-
Face in the classroom.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses to be determined by
departmental need and area of specialty.
Part-time faculty in the Psychology program are responsible for developing course materials and
teaching assigned courses within the curriculum.
All course delivery integrates technology, including Face-to-Face classes. We seek candidates
with experience teaching in blended and online formats to support our online option.
Experience
Previous experience teaching psychology to undergraduate students is preferred.
Education Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Psychology or a related field. Master’s
degree in psychology or a related field required.
Salary
$800/Credit hour
Anticipated Start Date
Fall 2025
