Job Description: The Department of Psychology & Counseling at Northeastern State University
invites applications for a non-tenure track instructor serving the undergraduate Psychology
program. The successful candidate should have the expertise and the ability to teach a range of
course. A willingness to teach Statistics and Forensic Psychology is preferred. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach a 4:4 load and should be willing to play an active role in the
department, advising students and participating in curriculum decisions. The successful
candidate will have a master’s degree or higher in psychology and experience teaching
psychology at the college level.
NSU offers courses on all three campuses including Tahlequah, Broken Arrow, and Muskogee.
This position will be based on the Broken Arrow campus with the candidate being willing and
able to teach both in person and online classes. In addition to teaching, the position will involve
student advisement and university service.
Annual salary $46,120 with benefits.
Projected hire date, August 1 st 2025.
