About the Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY
The Director's primary responsibility is the sound fiscal / budget management of the organization including all planning, forecasting, management of human resource actions, and data visualization / reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced to expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar data management and visualization is required;
- Experience in Banner, Cognos, and Workday financial systems preferred.
- Willingness and interest to explore and learn new technologies for efficient and effective data management.
- Strong proven analytical and project management skills and the ability to sort out complex information are essential.
- Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to exceeding client / customer expectations.
- Excellent strategic leadership and team building skills.
- Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of a Master's degree, preferably in Business Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
- Minimum of seven to nine years of financial / accounting experience preferably in higher education.
