What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Engineer II - Lithography Process position at Northeastern University?
About the Opportunity
KNMRC is actively seeking a Lithography Process Engineer. The individual will work in the clean room and will play a critical role in the process development for various lithography systems. As part of a KNMRC team, the candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, maintaining, and improving lithography processes and tools.
This position will perform the following :
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve process capability, quality, and efficiency.
- Conduct fee-for-service process requests from customers.
- Coordinate with faculty / KNMRC staff develop new process steps and SOP for tools as needed.
- Train students and researchers on lab procedures, lab safety, chemical handling, fabrication processes, and equipment operation.
- Work with the Lab Equipment Manager and other staff on repair, maintenance, modification, and / or the upgrade or development of various tools in the lab.
- Help with the purchase of tool upgrades and development of new processes associated with equipment purchases.
