Overview:

We are looking to fulfill our need for a Hardware Department Supervisor at our Teterboro facility. Please be aware this is not an office position. The person in this role will be operating a forklift, power jack and handling material for the majority of the day. This person must be experienced in inventory management, supervising a team and ways to create more efficient processes. The Hardware Department Supervisor must possess exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills while being results-driven.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Accountable for the supervision of a small team (attendance, training, discipline, quality of work, etc.)
• Accountable for the overall inventory, quarterly inventory counts and logistics of the hardware department.
• Must have prior experience utilizing inventory software.
• Responsible for learning all data entry and software for inventory and receiving.
• Must be hands-on. This is not an office position.
• Accountable for all glass receiving, storage, production needs, and organization of the rack system.
• Acquire a detailed understanding of the receiving requirements for NAS.
• Verify and maintain accurate records on all incoming shipments.
• Ensure shipments are inspected and packing slips are reconciled with actual items received.
• Confirm all product (hardware and glass) are delivered to the correct location and properly stored.
• Able to implement new ideas to make processes more efficient.
• Interface with the Purchasing Department on a daily basis.
• Ensure OSHA safety guidelines are followed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 years' experience as a Hardware Department Supervisor, Receiving Supervisor or similar position
• Must be forklift certified per OSHA standards
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Strong computer knowledge and understanding of MS Office
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Prior window industry experience is a plus

Full-time position:

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
