Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring the well-being of patients across various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal values
- Assist in wound care, including suturing and dressing changes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient education on various health conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements
- Possess a valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in areas such as ICU, PICU, or geriatrics is a plus
- Ability to provide quality patient care in diverse medical settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with critical care practices and procedures
