Pay Rate: $70/hr ($48/hr taxable $28/hr per diem)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
On-Call Rotation: Includes weekends & shift coverage if needed
Duties: May need to take a med cart if scheduling conflicts arise
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing team members
- Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols and standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records
- Handle any escalated patient care issues effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in critical care, medical-surgical, or other relevant nursing areas
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks
- Experience in supervising nursing staff is preferred
- Knowledge of specialized areas such as ophthalmology, geriatrics, suturing, and lifting techniques is a plus
