Role Summary
The ideal candidate will be a passionate talent acquisition professional with a proven track record of success in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent. This role is crucial in supporting our company's growth and development by ensuring we have the right people in the right roles to drive our strategic initiatives.
This is an exempt role that is not eligible for overtime and has supervisory responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent. Manage execution of recruiting strategy by individual recruiters and recruiting contractors.
Manage the Full Recruitment Lifecycle:
Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers.
- Source and Engage Candidates:
Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Screen and Evaluate Candidates:
Develop and implement effective screening processes to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and fit for the role and company culture.
- Manage Candidate Experience:
Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and updates.
- Partner with Hiring Managers:
Work closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements, provide guidance on candidate selection, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Build and Maintain Relationships:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates. Act as ambassador of company at events and with local colleges and universities.
Develop and Manage Recruiting Budgets:
Manage and track recruitment budgets, ensuring cost-effective and efficient utilization of resources.
Stay Informed on Recruitment Trends:
Stay abreast of current recruitment trends, best practices, and industry standards to ensure the recruitment process is efficient and effective.
Analyze Recruitment Data:
Track and analyze recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Ensure Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record of success in attracting and hiring top talent for contract research organizations and/or in the life sciences.
- Experience leading and managing a team of recruiters.
- Strong understanding of recruitment methodologies, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives (preferred).
