Typical Day of a Staff Accountant
- Apply generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information
- Accurate processing and analysis of inventory
- Order processing
- Accounts Payable processing
- Accounts Receivable processing
- Route accounting
- Perform both daily and monthly reconciliations
- Resolve any discrepancies in a professional manner
- Complete month-end tasks including: monthly reports, general ledger entries, and accrual entries
- Perform general administrative support such as copying, faxing, filing, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Who you are?
- You enjoy being a part of a team and collaborating with others.
- You have knowledge and familiarity with accounting principles.
- You have 1-2 years of experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory controls, and other accounting activities.
- You are a doer and a thinker!
- You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
- You have a Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting or are working to obtain it.
$18.54 to $22.66 Per Hour Depending on Experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
