Marketing Manager (Familiar Foods)

Northern Colorado Foodshed Project
Fort Collins, CO Part Time
POSTED ON 4/3/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/2/2025

About Familiar Foods

Familiar Foods is a project of the Northern Colorado Foodshed Project. It is a mobile local food market that brings fresh, local food right into neighborhoods across Larimer County. We’re a “farmers market on wheels" operating on a flexible, equity-centered pricing model that increases food access for underserved communities while supporting local farmers. With streamlined SNAP/WIC/Double Up Food Bucks access, we’re building a new kind of market that meets people where they are—literally. We’re working in partnership with the Food Bank for Larimer County and a network of producers and community organizations to support both food access and farm viability.

The program is in its first year of development/operations, and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can help us grow our presence, shape the outreach strategy, and build momentum as we prepare to launch. This position also includes creative input on finishing and designing the mobile market van and contributing to a fun, community-first experience for everyone involved. You’ll be joining a small, passionate team that loves local food and is serious about making systems-level change—without taking ourselves too seriously.

About the Northern Colorado Foodshed Project

We work with partners across the Front Range to increase access to local food, support beginning farmers, and build long-term food system resilience. Our vision? A vibrant, dynamic, and equitable local food economy where 10% or more of agricultural products are sold locally, and everyone in our community has access to fresh, nutritious, local food.
