Sales & Design Consultant - Front + Center Division

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Sales and Design Consultant, you’ll guide customers through their refacing journey—from consultation to purchase. You’ll use your design expertise and sales savvy to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and close sales efficiently. You will also create new paths to market for professional contractors or entrepreneurs who are looking to start a new business selling and installing refacing projects.  This role offers a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and customer engagement.

Customer Engagement

• Proactiely connect with customers via phone, email, chat, or video consultations to learn about their design preferences and needs.
• Provide design advice and recommendations on colors, materials, layouts, and styles tailored to each customer’s vision.
• Deliver personalized solutions that align with their goals and elevate their space.

Sales Expertise

• Present customized product solutions and upsell relevant options to maximize sales opportunities.
• Drive initiatives to increase consumer sales, average order values, and customer retention.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and product bundling to optimize revenue.
• Follow-up with leads to understand friction points and guide them towards purchases.

Social Media and Influencer Relations

• Respond to questions and comments on social media platforms and track common themes for improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with influencers, track project progress, ensure marketing team receives content, and share success stories.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in CRM systems.
• Use data and metrics to analyze performance, optimize customer experiences, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows, automate processes, and enhance the end-to-end customer journey.

Customer Advocacy

• Implement feedback mechanisms to understand and address customer concerns.
• Champion consumer needs using empathy and design thinking principles to deliver outstanding results.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Sales & Customer Service: Experience in sales, customer service, or design (ecommerce experience is a bonus).
• Design Savvy: Strong eye for color, style, and layout with the ability to translate customer visions into actionable plans.
• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools, ecommerce platforms, and virtual consultation tools.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data to inform strategies and drive continuous improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Organization: Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
• Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
• Requires sitting for long periods of time
• Requires repetitive movement
