About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehab in Millersburg, PA.
Schedule: Full-time, 32–40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Assist residents in achieving their goals to improve independence and quality of life.
- Implement treatment plans tailored to residents' specific needs.
- Document therapy sessions accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive approach to resident care.
- Monitor and report residents' progress and any changes in condition to the supervising OT.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Active certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Proven experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
