About the Role:
Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing facility. This role involves assessing, developing, and implementing speech-language therapy programs to help patients regain communication and swallowing functions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech therapy services in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Evaluate patients and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including targeted exercises and short-term/long-term goals.
- Instruct patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures to promote continued progress in daily activities.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Master's Degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program.
- Successful completion of the Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidate.
- BLS Certification required.
