- Obtain patient registration information and enter it into the computer system
- Perform order entry, including charges and reprinting orders
- Assist with admitting patients and restocking emergency department supplies
- Conduct vital signs, EKGs, bandaging, and other ER tech skills competently
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintain patient records, charts, and logs
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance job performance
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical background or EMS training preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
