General Description
NES is looking for an experienced parts handler to work on the North Slope of Alaska at Prudhoe Bay. You will stay at a base camp with food and housing provided while on the slope.
The parts position's primary duties are to order, inventory, and distribute parts used at the shop and field. Parts are used on a variety of equipment including Caterpiller, Cummins, and Kenworth.
Parts department is in a warehouse setting. We also have a few parts connex which are outside in arctic conditions. This position is on the North Slope of Alaska which is an Arctic Environment. Work rotation is planned to be 3 weeks on 3 weeks off but may vary depending on project requirements. Work hours are 12 hrs per day 7 days a week.
Essential Duties and Job Requirements
· knowledge of Fleet Focus is a plus
· Knowledge of heavy equipment and truck parts.
· Knowledge of Material handling.
· Perform other duties as required
· Comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
· Report all incidents involving injuries, spills, equipment malfunction or damage to the supervisor.
· Support zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
Minimum Experience
· High School Diploma or GED
· 2 years heavy parts
·knowledge of cat sis, quickserve, kenworth eportal preferred
· Arctic oilfield experience is preferred.
