What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Washer/ Shop Assistant position at Northern Equipment Rental?
The primary focus will be on exterior cleaning of large equipment using pressure washers, cleaning solvents and solutions. Will work under supervision and direction of shop mechanics as part of the service team, but will also have direct input from shop managers for specific tasks.
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, but no special skills or education required. Need to be able to multitask, and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining efficiency.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Work: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
