Our business places collection bins at customer locations to collect UCO and grease from cooking and food production operations. Representative customers include: restaurants, stadiums, institutions and food manufacturing facilities.
Job description:
The ‘Collection Driver, l’ primary responsibilities at Northern Gulf Services (“NGS”) include, but are not limited to: delivering NGS bins to new customers, repair existing NGS bins in the field, execute collection routes, and support the overall mission of the NGS Collection Team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CDL Class A License (Required)
- One year of Class A driving experience (Preferred)
- 2 – 5 years of experience in a waste collection role (Preferred)
- Ability to work nights / weekends (Preferred)
- Basic maintenance / mechanical aptitude (Preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Safe operation of UCO Collection vehicle
2. Ensure the UCO collection vehicle is in proper working order and that maintenance logs are updated and executed.
3. Execute the collection routes provided by the route management team.
4. Log relevant data regarding the conditions of the collection bins and relay any pertinent information to management.
5. Relay any communication from the restaurant’s management team back to the appropriate party at NGS.
6. Submit maintenance tickets for damaged bins.
7. Unload truck at NGS warehouse and ensure spec on the volumes is gathered and logged by operations.
8. Fill out Customer Relationship Management information for each stop on route.
