2nd Shift Porter

NORTHERN HASEROT “The Midwest's Leading Independent Food-Service Distributor since 1878” is adding to their Sanitation team! 2nd shift Porter openings available for immediate start !

Job Summary

Our sanitation team is responsible for keeping the facility clean to meet FDA/ODA standards.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep aisles
• Clean spills both liquid and dry
• Recoup damages
• Operate single ride on pallet jack
• Empty trash
• Operate trash compactor
• Wipe down guard rails
• Other routine daily sanitation and cleaning duties as needed
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long hours
• Ability to twist and stoop several times in the shift
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work on all temperature zones (Dry Goods, Cooler, Freezer)
  
  

Education:

• Highschool diploma or GED is NOT required
