POSITION: Direct Support Assistant (DSA)

Northern Hills Training Center (NHTC) is seeking part-time. Would you like to support individuals to lead self-directed & meaningful lives? Are you looking for 12-24 hours a week to fill a void and make additional income? This may be the job for you!
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provide in-home, direct support to people with Developmental Disabilities. Job duties include:
- Supporting people in becoming a part of their community.
- Implementing and teaching individual support programs.
- Identifying people’s training needs and preferences in collaboration with team members.
- Supporting people’s daily routine activities, such as appearance and hygiene.
- Supporting people’s medical needs, such as medication administration and diet support.
- Supporting people to obtain personal outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be well organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
HOURS:
- Minimum of 16 hours per week & up.
WAGES:
- $16.25 per hour base pay.
