Human Resources Business Generalist

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of HR in a dynamic and growing organization? As the Human Resources Business Generalist, you will be the #2 HR leader in the company, working closely with the Director of Human Resources to enhance processes, develop innovative strategies, and ensure that HR drives the success of our hospitality and restaurant businesses. In our "all-hands-on-deck" HR team, youll contribute at every levelfrom high-level strategy to data entry and validation. Your impact will directly shape the culture, engagement, and operations of a company dedicated to legendary Alaskan hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
- Be a trusted advisor, connecting leadership and employees with actionable HR guidance that fosters collaboration and growth.
- Design and implement tailored HR strategies that address challenges unique to the hospitality and restaurant industries.
- Champion employee engagement, nurturing a positive work environment rooted in teamwork, inclusivity, and legendary service.
- Administer HR policies and programs with precision, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead performance management initiatives that inspire employees to excel in delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Conduct fair and thorough investigations while handling employee relations with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition to attract top industry talent and ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
- Support organizational change with clear communication and strategies that facilitate smooth transitions.
- Develop and deliver impactful training programs to support employee growth and address skill gaps.
- Stay at the forefront of HR trends, legal regulations, and best practices to keep our HR programs innovative and effective.
- Manage employee housing ensuring units are clean
- Travel - Minimal but will be international
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven HR leadership in the hospitality or restaurant industries.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, specifically within our industry.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, strategic problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus!
