Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to support our growing team. This role will focus on employee engagement, benefits administration, compliance, and recruitment efforts while serving as a key resource for both staff and management. Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage employee benefits programs.
Implement and manage employee milestone & anniversary recognition initiatives.
Conduct talent check-ins and engagement initiatives to support employee retention.
Handle employee relations and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion.
Act as the HR liaison for operations, supporting managers with HR concerns and best practices.
Serve as the ADP subject matter expert, assisting with troubleshooting and system optimization.
Conduct and oversee manager interviews to ensure leadership quality and alignment with company values.
Support and assist in all recruitment efforts and hiring decisions.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
Collaborate with the Director of HR to develop, implement, and maintain HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain compliance with federal and state HR laws and regulations, including wage and labor laws, workplace policies, and safety standards.
Oversee and manage workers’ compensation claims and reporting.
Assist in recruitment and onboarding logistics by coordinating background checks, references, and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
3 years of HR management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including wage and labor laws.
Proficiency with ADP systems and HR software.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
