Job Title: Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee our employee housing while supporting general maintenance operations across our restaurant facilities.
Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager will dedicate 20-30% of their time to managing employee housing maintenance and the remaining time assisting the Director of Maintenance with general restaurant upkeep. This role is essential in ensuring our properties remain in top condition, providing a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and guests.
Primary Responsibilities (Housing Maintenance - 20-30%):
Conduct cleaning checks on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month to ensure housing standards are upheld.
Coordinate all maintenance needs for employee housing in collaboration with the Director of Maintenance.
Oversee and reset all rooms for new arrivals, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup.
Perform inspections during check-outs, documenting conditions and reporting any damages or issues.
Maintain an inventory of housing supplies (e.g., bedding, kitchen essentials, cleaning supplies) and coordinate replenishment as needed.
Collaborate with HR and Operations to support seasonal housing transitions.
General Responsibilities (Restaurant Maintenance - 70-80%):
Assist the Director of Maintenance with routine and emergency repairs across all restaurant facilities.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Support special projects and upgrades as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
Strong understanding of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver’s license required.
