Based on your experience and expertise, this role offers flexibility at either the Senior Designer or Principal level. For candidates joining as Senior Designers, there is a clear path for advancement to the Principal position as you grow with the studio.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee the design process for educational projects, including K-12 schools, community colleges, and universities.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to develop innovative design solutions that enhance learning outcomes.
- Ensure design excellence and adherence to the company's high standards of quality and sustainability.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and professional growth.
- Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposal preparation.
- Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Stay current with emerging trends in educational design and sustainable practices.
- Oversee design presentations and monitor project development to ensure consistent, high-quality design outcomes.
- Lead and direct design teams while maintaining technical production standards across all projects.
- Provide design direction for educational facilities, ensuring alignment with client needs and institutional culture.
