Overview

One of America's largest retailers is seeking a Division SVP Operations to join their growing company.

A transformative leadership role focused on driving growth through innovative loyalty programs and destination services. This executive position will spearhead strategy development across loyalty initiatives and recreational destinations, reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Loyalty.

Core Responsibilities

Loyalty Program Innovation & Growth
  • Architect and implement next-generation loyalty programs that deliver measurable value to members
  • Design and launch sophisticated tiered membership structures
  • Develop strategic partnerships across outdoor recreation sectors including powersports and marine
  • Optimize co-branded credit card program performance metrics
  • Create innovative member benefits that drive engagement and retention
Credit Card Program Excellence
  • Spearhead program evolution through data-driven decision making
  • Expand acquisition channels beyond existing retail framework within first year
  • Implement sophisticated cardholder communication strategies
  • Drive card utilization through targeted engagement campaigns
  • Collaborate with Director of Credit Card on ecosystem integration
Destinations & Operations Strategy
  • Transform B2B services for operators through innovative solutions
  • Execute aggressive growth strategy targeting 20% annual revenue increase over 3 years
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives including:
    • Modern reservation system implementation
    • New destination type development (glamping, specialty accommodations)
    • Booking platform optimization
  • Establish industry leadership in analytics by 2025 through comprehensive reporting
  • Develop cutting-edge operator support services
Customer Experience & Innovation
  • Build sophisticated customer profiles using advanced analytics
  • Create vibrant digital communities that drive engagement
  • Implement continuous testing frameworks across all initiatives
  • Manage complex P&L responsibilities
  • Drive technological innovation across all business units
Strategic Team Leadership
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams across multiple functions
  • Foster culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Partner with C-suite on organizational development
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Manage resource allocation efficiently

Qualifications

Professional Background
  • 10 years in business/strategy management with P&L responsibility
  • 3 years executive leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business/Marketing/Operations/Technology)
  • Master's degree preferred

Location & Schedule
Chicago-based with hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
